There is no other experience quite like this one. In Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region is the largest man-made lake in the southern hemisphere known as Lake Argyle. And in typical Australian fashion, an estimated 30,000 freshwater crocodiles live in this lake. There are boat tours that can take you around the lake (the best way to experience the sheer size of it) and they’ll even stop where it’s safe to have a refreshing swim.
